Caleb Dunaway joined the Addicus team in 2021 as a senior staff accountant. Since joining Addicus, he’s assisted in updating and finalizing financial statements, and driving the completion of outstanding tax and audit requirements.

Tasked with helping update accounting processes and procedures, Caleb has created and maintained financial budgets and forecasts, and has driven the implementation of an ERP system for the firm. Caleb has also assisted in building private equity accounting and reporting processes, creating financial models, and performing due diligence for several Addicus Private Equity projects.

Prior to joining Addicus, Caleb worked with KPMG as an auditor for a large financial services client. He has also held roles as a bookkeeper, a tax preparer, and a financial analyst for his school’s student managed investment fund.  Caleb graduated from the University of South Alabama where he earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting and finance.  Shortly after graduation, Caleb sat for and passed the CPA exam and is currently licensed in the state of Alabama.

Caleb lives in Birmingham with his wife, Zoey, and their dog and cat. He enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking and fishing.
