Casey serves as general counsel to Addicus. His areas of expertise include employment law, corporate/transactional law, estate planning, and litigation. 

Before forming Wells Butts Law PLLC and representing Addicus, Casey spent 10 years working various management jobs at Wayne-Sanderson Farms, where he last served as associate general counsel. Prior to Wayne-Sanderson Farms, Casey spent 6 years practicing law at Maynard Nexsen and Forman Watkins. Casey is licensed to practice law in Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi, and is also a certified public accountant. 

Casey received his undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi School of Accountancy, and his JD from the University of Mississippi School of Law. He was recently named to the Ole Miss Alumni 40 Under 40 list. 

Casey lives with his wife and two sons. When he is not working, he plays guitar and lead vocals in a rock band, coaches his sons in baseball and basketball, and enjoys working out. Casey also serves on the boards of the Mississippi Early Learning Alliance and St. John’s Day School, respectively.
