Parker Smith is the Director of Tax at Addicus where he specializes in income tax, tax credits and incentives, accounting for income tax, and state and local tax.  He brings over 15 years of experience providing tax services to large public and middle market companies, including corporate and flow-through entities across a number of industries — banking, manufacturing, agriculture, pharmaceutical, private equity and venture capital-backed entities.

Prior to joining Addicus in 2022, he spent ten years at HORNE as Tax Senior Manager.  He also worked with KPMG.

Parker earned his Bachelor of Accountancy and Master of Taxation from the University of Mississippi.  He is a member of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants, Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Parker can be found outside the office playing tennis, watching football, and spending time with friends and family. He volunteers with the Boys and Girls Club of Central MS with the Phoenix Club of Jackson. Parker resides in Jackson, MS with his two dogs.
