Implementation: The Culmination of our Consulting Process

Your Addicus Consulting Group (ACG) team has invested a substantial amount of energy and intention into understanding your global financial picture, the objectives you want to accomplish, and the threats you must guard against.  We have constructed a customized and detailed plan for your Family Wealth Enterprise (FWE), complete with recommendations to ensure the wealth you’ve worked so hard to create continues to create for you.  This plan has been reduced to detailed steps, a cadence and sequence based on a detailed timeline, with parties responsible for completing each item and with a maximum global budget.   

Now that this plan has been approved by you, implementation can begin. Your ACG team will coordinate with and oversee all third-party advisors and vendors engaged in the project as we activate your plan in all areas. The implementation process may include the creation of new LLCs, asset transfer or relocation, trust or legal document drafting, and other corporate or related transactional documents. In addition, taxing authorities, banks, business partners and advisors will be updated as needed with changes should they impact them. We will solicit and secure consents to these changes, if necessary.   

Your involvement and input during this phase is essential as we dig into the details of implementing the structure for your family wealth enterprise. Together, we will review all relevant documents, assign roles, and meet with attorneys, CPAs, and other advisors or vendors as needed.  We will do as much of the heavy lifting as possible, but will need some assistance, direction, and certain decisions from you.      

This phase can take anywhere from 90 days to nine months, depending on the complexity of your plan and goals. Upon completion, you will receive: 

  • All your executed documents organized digitally for easy access, with all originals returned to you.  Copies of these documents are also shared with your advisors 
  • Updated balance (as applicable) reflecting all changes, with final ownership and cash flow diagrams summarizing the ownership structure and planned cash flow movements
  • Project recap memo including detailed instructions for administration provided to you and your advisors
  • Brief all relevant advisors on plan status, filing requirements and/or actions to be taken on your behalf 

Because our goal is to maximize impact and to protect what you have created, it is vital that the plan we have created for your family and business(es) is administered properly on an ongoing basis.  We will provide all the necessary information and support after the project(s) are complete, and when our engagement is fully satisfied, the Addicus Consulting Group will have no further role.  Should you decide to continue the relationship, we have a team with the expertise and capability to assist with ongoing administration, as well as holistic management of your entire financial picture.  If you or your advisory need or want ongoing assistance, Addicus can provide support under a separate engagement and fee arrangement.  We look forward to making a lasting and purposeful impact that will create benefits today and for generations to come.
